Don’t Panic! The end of the Universe will not Come at Least for 2.8 Billion more Years

No one should worry, the end of the universe will not come at least for 2.8 billion more years.

We are safe… for now.

The universe will come to an end one day, the scientist agree on that. But how and when it will happen exactly is more of a grey area and it is not something that we should worry about actually. The current predictions put this tens of billions of years away, way after the Sun dies. But, what if our current predictions are wrong? A team of researchers investigated an alternative hypothesis, and the worst case scenario is that the closest date for the end of the universe is 2.8 billion years later. The head researcher from the University of Lisbon, Diego Saez-Gomez says that we are safe.
