For dry skin
First of all, drink plenty of water. Consume fruits and vegetables that contain high amounts of water, such as cucumber, celery, watermelon, cabbage, tomato and zucchini. Foods that contain omega-3, such as fish, avocado, coconut oil, flaxseed and hazelnut, will help moisturizing your skin.
Alcohol, caffeine and sugar will cause you to lose water. Stay away from them.
For sensitive skin
Promoting cell rejuvenation with antioxidants and amino acids will be good for sensitive skins. Organic foods must be consumed as much as possible.
People with sensitive skin must avoid red meat, caffeine, alcohol and spicy foods.
For eczema
People, who are suffering from eczema, must consume polyunsaturated fatty acids. Besides this, they should get omega-3 to get rid of skin dryness.
They should try to avoid dairy products like milk, cheese, cream, ice cream and yoghurt. They should not consume alcohol since they contain preservatives, especially wine.
For swollen skin
Consume foods that contain vitamin A. Apricot, carrot, mango, papaya, zucchini, broccoli and green-leafy vegetables will help.
Stay away from sugar and all forms of it, because the bacteria in our skin feeds on sugar.
For oily skin
Whole-grains that contain vitamin B6, tuna, salmon, red pepper, zucchini, spinach, asparagus, Brussels sprouts, broccoli, collard greens and garlic will be helpful for the people who have oily skin.
They must avoid fast food, fried foods, all kinds of high-fat foods, sugar and processed foods.
